Continuing the quest to get photos of the major events up on the blog. Don't try to find a rhyme or reason for the order of events or photos. This has been really fun to look back at all of the photos from the last year. It makes me appreciate having this blog to record our memories.

| This harness worked great. The first few times we went Ashley didn't have this on and in her true dare devil spirit she looked back at Matt and asked "can you just let me go fast please?". There was no concern about stopping or turning, only going fast - she and Matt will ski well together one day. |

Christmas 2010
What a wonderful Christmas season. Matt and I both had the holidays off from work which only happens every 3 to 5 years so we were blessed to get to spend the holidays together. We went to a local tree farm and picked out our tree. We walked around for about 10 minutes when Ashley drug us over to a little tree and she said "I found it, this is the one, it is perfect". So, with that endorsement we had the first "real" tree that we have put up together. The house smelled wonderful and it was fun to decorate it with the kids.

| Ashley was in a Christmas play at our church. She is in the front row with the red shirt and plaid skirt. Weeks before the performance her Sunday school class sent home CDs with all of the songs so that each child could practice. As everyone knows Ashley LOVES to sing so she thought this was great. We listened to that CD probably a hundred times in the weeks leading up to the big show. One day, as we were driving into Boulder, we were listening to the CD and I was singing along with Ashley to the music. I thought we were having a great time until she piped up from the back seat and said "Mom, can you please stop singing to my music". On the night of the performance she was really nervous and didn't want to go but she put a brave foot forward (partially stimulated by the cookie party scheduled for after the show) and performed the songs with her class. |
