Back at camp we all got warm and dry and had taco night which hit the spot after a day on the water. The kiddos enjoyed their mini camp chairs and had fun exploring the campsite. Although with a 16 month old and a two year old play consists of a lot of saying no and taking whatever object of interest there is from one another. After the kids went to bed we built a fire and relaxed for the evening. We had originally planned on rafting for a second day but it started to rain at about 2am and continued through the morning. Instead we packed up camp and went to Kremmling for a fantastic family style breakfast before we started the drive home. Despite the weather we had a great time camping and rafting and we are already looking forward to next season.
After we returned back home we got back to life as usual. Love is super busy with work right now and Sweet Pea is growing like crazy. She has added a few more words to her ever expanding vocabulary such as dohs (toes), hi, ats-me (that's mine). No continues to be her absolute favorite word. I think I heard it 200+ times today. Sometimes I will ask her questions like Do you want Micky Mouse to give you a million dollars and Do you want a sports car for your 16th birthday? To which she answers with an emphatic NO. Unless you have experienced the NO phase this may not seem that funny, but it makes me laugh and keeps me sane (for the most part). Sweet Pea is also climbing everything - she is actually pretty good at it.
Until next time....
