Our little Love Bug turned one on March 5th. What an amazing little boy. He has the biggest smile and sweetest laugh and he is always very busy. We celebrated with good friends from our neighborhood and two of Love Bug's buddies that also turned one recently. At first Love Bug did not know what to think of all of the attention and the cake but Sweet Pea showed him how all of it is done. Sweet Pea helped with the celebration by making a huge birthday banner and of course helping to make cupcakes. As soon as she heard the word birthday she told me she wanted to make the cake. She is quite the helper and she loves to pour and mix all of the ingredients.

After decorating he opened some presents and took a ride on his new dragon.
He was not very enthusiastic about the cake. Even after a few bites he still sat and calmly ate it. This was surprising considering his normal enthusiasm for food.

After the cake we let the kids loose in the playroom for a little chaos.
