One Month

WOW! Ashley is one month old and she is growing by leaps and bounds. At her last doctor's visit she weighed 9lbs 1.5ozs. She is really getting the hang of her three jobs (eating, sleeping and pooping) although occasionally she boycotts sleep in preference to eating and pooping. She is starting to watch everything and everyone and really makes eye contact now. We still can not tell if her smiles are directed at us or if they are gas but they make us melt either way.
Last week Ashley's Grammy was out and the 4 of us had a great time. We took walks to the park and Ashley went to her first restraunt. It had been almost a year since Mom had gotten to eat sushi and she couldn't wait any longer. Ashley also had her first tub bath last week and we started working on taking a bottle. She is not quite sure what to think of either, but we are working to learn new things.
